NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 2.04.010 OF THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO TIME
AND PLACE OF COUNCIL MEETINGS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 2.04.010 of the Municipal Code of the City
of Bakersfield is hereby amended to read as follows:
2.04.010 Time and place. The regular meetings of the City
Council of the City of Bakersfield shall be held at seven p.m. in
the Council Chamber of City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield,
on Wednesdays of each week throughout the year, except when such
Wednesdays are a legal holiday; provided, however, that the
Council may, from time to time by resolution, change the number
and date of meetings to be held during any specified period of
time. Regular workshop meetings of the City Council shall be
held at six p.m. prior to, and at the same place as, the regular
meeting of the City Council.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.
