A RESOLUTION OF BAKERSFIELD CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE
BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF THE CALIFORNIA
HIGHWAY PATROL.
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of the California Highway Patrol
requires written training agreements from any agency participating in training programs;
and
WHEREAS, the Bakersfield Police Department desires from time-to-time to
participate in certain training programs sponsored and administered by the Department of
the California Highway Patrol.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to sign such training
agreements, not to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) per
year.
