AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING TITLE 8 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
BY AMENDING SECTION 8.44.050 B.7. OF CHAPTER
8.44 RELATIVE TO SALE OF SAFE AND SANE
FIREWORKS.
BE
as follows:
IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
Section 8.44.050 B.7. of Chapter 8.44 of Title 8 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is amended to read as
follows:
8.44.050 B. Regulations for Temporary Fireworks Stands.
B.7. Each stand shall be provided with not less than two
(2) 2A 10 BC-type fire extinguishers, underwriter approved, in
good working order and easily accessible for use in case of fire.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 21st day of July , 1982, by
