AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.08.140 B. AND
REPEALING SECTION 17.08.140 C. RELATIVE TO
ADDITIONAL DWELLING UNITS ON LOT.
BE
as follows:
IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
Section 17.08.140 B. of the Bakersfield Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
17.08.140 Additional Dwelling Units on Same Lot - Conditional
Permit.
B. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Title, a
conditional use permit may be granted for a dwelling unit to be
constructed or attached to a primary residence on a lot zoned R-1
if the dwelling is intended for the sole occupancy of an adult or
adults who have reached age sixty (60) and the area of the floor
space of the dwelling does not exceed six hundred and forty (640)
square feet.
SECTION 2.
Section 17.08.140 C. of the Bakersfield Municipal Code
is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be posted
