HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2720as ORDINANCE NO. 2720 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING CHAPTER 17.48 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTIONS 17.48.040, 17.48.070B, C, D AND G AND ADDING SECTION 17.48.090 RELATIVE TO TT (TRAVEL TRAILER PARK) ZONE. BE follows: IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield SECTION 1. Section 17.48.040 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 17.48.040 Uses Permitted. The following uses are permitted in a TT (Travel Trailer Park) Zone: A. Travel trailer parks, recreational vehicle parks and temporary trailer parks as defined in Sections 18220, 18215 and 18217, respectively, of the California Health & Safety Code. No travel trailer park shall be constructed or located within a mobile home park unless such mobile home park, or a portion thereof, is in the TT Zone. B. The following accessory uses: 1. Travel trailers, recreational vehicles and tents. 2. Community recreation facilities. 3. Laundry rooms. 4. Toilets, showers, lavatories. 5. One (1) mobile home or a one-story, permanent office building to be used only for business or for residence of a manager or caretaker. permanent structure be space. Sections 17.48.070B, C, D and G of the Bakersfield Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows: 17.48.070 ~inimum Requirements. B. Section 17.48.090 is hereby added to Chapter 17.48 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code to read as follows: 17.48.090 Setback Requirements. A. Each travel trailer, recreation vehicle or other structure shall meet the minimum setback requirements of Title 25 of the California Administrative Code and all other State regulations. B. A travel trailer, recreational shall not be located closer than three line or lot line except that the minimum distance of three (3) feet will not be required from a lot line which borders on-site roadway. vehicle or other structure (3) feet from a property C.
