HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2695ORDINANCE NO. 2695 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.06.050 OF CHAPTER 17.06 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD RELATIVE TO DESIGNATION OF ZONES. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: SECTION 1. Section 17.06.050 of Chapter 17.06 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended to read as follows: 17.06.050 Designation of Zones. The several classes of zones into which the City is divided are designated as follows: R-i, One-Family Dwelling Zone. R-S, Residential Suburban Zone. R-S-1A, Residential Suburban--One Acre Minimum Lot Size Zone. R-S-2.5A, Residential Suburban--2.5 Acre Minimum Lot Size Zone. R-S-5A, Residential Suburban--Five Acre Minimum Lot Size Zone. R-S-10A, Residential Suburban--Ten Acre Minimum ]Lot Size Zone. R-2, Limited Multiple Family Dwelling Zone. (minimum lot area - 2500 sq.ft. per unit) R-3, Limited Multiple Family Dwelling Zone. (minimum lot area - 1250 sq.ft. per unit) R-4, Multiple Family Dwelling Zone. (minimum lot area 600 sq.ft. per unit) RH, Residential Holding Zone. C-O, Commercial and Professional Office Zone. C-l, Limited Commercial Zone. C-2, Commercial Zone. C-C, Civic Center Zone. M-l, Light Manufacturing Zone. M-2, General Manufacturing Zone. OS, Open Space Zone. RE, Recreation Zone. A, Agriculture Zone. A-20A, Agricultural--Twenty Acre Minimum Zone. P, Automobile Parking Zone. CH, Church Zone. Hosp, Hospital Zone. D, Architectural Design Zone. AD, Architectural Design Zone. AA, Airport Approach Zone. FP-P, Flood Plain Primary Zone. FP-S, Flood Plain Secondary Zone. W, Oil Well Zone. TT, Travel Trailer Park Zone. MH, Mobilehome Zone. PUD, Planned Unit Development Zone. PCD, Planned Commercial Development Zone. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage. ........ o0o .........
