HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 99-98RESOLUTION NO. 9 9 - 9 8 A RESOLUTION WHICH ENDORSES THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GOLDEN STATE MUSEUM TO BE LOCATED IN SACRAMENTO IN THE BUILDING THAT HOUSES THE OFFICES OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE AND THE STATE ARCHIVES. WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield supports the preservation of the history and culture of the State of California; and WHEREAS, a non-profit benefit corporation has been established to organize the development of a Museum which would be the official Museum of the State of California and have requested endorsement of this activity.
