NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 8.48.055(b),
SUSPENDING THE REFUSE COLLECTION FEES FOR
THE PERIOD JUNE 1, 1981, TO MAY 31, 1982.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 8.48.055(b) of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
(b) The charges imposed in sections 8.48.030, 8.48.040 and
8.48.050 of this chapter are suspended for the period June 1, 1981,
to May 31, 1982.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage and shall be retro-
active to June 1, 1981.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
