AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 2.04.010 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING REGULAR WORKSHOP
MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.04.010 of the Municipal Code is amended to read
as follows:
2.04.010 Time and Place of Meeting. The regular workshop meetings
of the City Council of the City of Bakersfield shall be held at
7 P.M., and the regular meetings of the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield shall be held at 8 P.M., in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, on Wednesdays of each
week throughout the year except when such Wednesdays shall be a legal
holiday; provided, however, that the Council, may, from time to time
by resolution, change the number and date of meetings to be held
during any specified period of time.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 11th day of February , 1981, by
