AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 3.18.010 OF
CHAPTER 3.18 RELATIVE TO SETTING THE
COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO MEMBERS OF
PLANNING AND CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONS OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE
as follows:
IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
Section 3.18.010 of Chapter 3.18 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Bakersfield is amended to read as follows:
3.18.010 Compensation For Boards or Commissions. Except as
specifically provided herein, members of all boards and commissions
of the City of Bakersfield shall serve without compensation for
their services. The members of the Planning Commission and Civil
Service Commissions of the City of Bakersfield shall be entitled
to receive, as compensation for services, twenty-five dollars ($25)
per regular meeting attended, to a maximum of one hundred dollars
($100) per month for each such member. The members of all boards
and commissions may be reimbursed for travel or other expenses
incurred in the discharge of their duties upon authorization of the
Council of the City of Bakersfield.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thJ. rty (30) days
from and after the date of its passage.

and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
