AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING CHAPTER 14.01 OF THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO THE
UNIFORM FIRE CODE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 14.01 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is amended
by adding Section 14.01.015 to read as follows:
14.01.015 Certain Provisions of Uniform Fire Code Deleted. The
following provisions are hereby deleted from the Uniform Fire Code,
1976 Edition:
Section 1.209, Right of Entry, third paragraph only.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
