NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTIONS 5.10.010 AND
5.11.020 OF THE BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATIVE TO GAS TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND
AND TO AN INSURANCE FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 5.10.010 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
5.10.010 Creation of Fund. There is hereby created in the City
Treasury a special fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax Street
Improvement Fund," in compliance with the provisions of Article 5 of
Chapter 1 of Division I and Chapter 3 of Division 3 of the Streets
and Highways Code.
SECTION 2.
Section 5.11.020 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the City
Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30) days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 10th day of December , 1980, by
