NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 1.84.020 OF THE
BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY MEMBERSHIP.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 1.84.020 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is
amended to read as follows:
1.84.020 Membership. Pursuant to Sections 33110 and 33112 of
the Community Redevelopment Law the agency shall consist of
seven members, one member who shall serve for a period of one
year, two members who shall serve for two years, two members
who shall serve for three years and two members who shall serve
for four years, all to serve from and after their appointment
which shall be the effective date of the ordinance codified herein.
Successors of the initial members shall serve for four years.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 10th day of December , 1980, by
