AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 8.48.055(b),
SUSPENDING THE REFUSE COLLECTION FEES FOR
THE PERIOD JUNE 1, 1980, TO MAY 31, 1981.
BE
as follows:
IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
Section 8.48.055(b)
amended to read as follows:
(b) The charges imposed
of the Municipal Code is
in Sections 8.48.030, 8.48.040 and
8.48.050 of this Chapter are suspended for the period June 1, 1980
to May 31, 1981.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the
City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage and shall be retro-
active to June 1, 1980.

and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 7th day of May, 1980, by the following
