NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING UPON THE ASSESSED VALUATION
OF THE TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
EXCEPT THAT AREA KNOWN AS THE RIO BRAVO ANNEXATION,
A RATE OF TAXATION UPON EACH ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
OF VALUATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1,
1979, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1980.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That there is hereby levied a tax of one and 30/100 cents
($.0130) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valua-
tion of all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield, except
that area known as the Rio Bravo Annexation, County of iKern, State
of California, for Municipal Auditorium Bonds 1961, Interest and
Redemption Fund, during the fiscal year beginning with the first day
of July, 1979, and ending with the thirtieth day of June, 1980.
SECTION 2.
That there is hereby levied a tax of 9/100 cents ($.0009)
on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all
taxable property within the City of Bakersfield, except that area
known as the Rio Bravo Annexation, County of Kern, State of California,
for Municipal Improvement Bonds, Series A, Interest and Redemption
Fund, during the fiscal year beginning with the first day of July,
1979, and ending with the thirtieth day of June, 1980.
SECTION 3.
That there is hereby levied a tax of two and 72/100 cents
($.0272) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property with the City of Bakersfield, except that
area known as the Rio Bravo Annexation, County of Kern, State of
California, for Municipal Improvement Bonds, Series B, Interest
and Redemption Fund, during the fiscal year beginning with the first
day of July, 1979, and ending with the thirtieth day of June, 1980.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 29~h day of August , 1979, by
