NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION
OF ARLANA STREET TO CHESTER W. NIMITZ STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That that portion of Arlana Street lying westerly of South
"H" Street and adjacent to Lots 1 and 20, 21 and 40, 41 and 60, 61
and 80 and Lots 81 through 100 of Tract 3828 Unit "A", recorded in
Book 28 of Maps, Page 85, be renamed to Chester W. Nimitz Street.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall be posted in accordance with
the City Charter provisions and shall become effective thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 9th day of ~y , 1979, by
