AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF
CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, REGARDING
PROPERTY KNOWN AS NEW STINE NO. 1 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion to zone certain property now
being annexed to said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of the motion and recon~aendation of the Planning
Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning
should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is
hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include
those certain properties in the County of Kern located on the
southeast corner of New Stine Road and Demaret Avenue, known as
New Stine No. 1 Annexation, in an R-3-D
Dwelling-Architectural Design) Zone,
property to the City of Bakersfield,
property are shown on the map hereto
this

upon the annexation of said

ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows:
To an R-3-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling-
Architectural Design) Zone:
Lot 1, Tract 2963, County of Kern, State of
California, as per Map recorded October 19,
1965 in Book 14 at Pages 152 and 153 in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the _~2it/L day of December , 1978, by
