AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 12.40.010(b)
OF CHAPTER 12.40 (CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS
AND DRIVEWAY APPROACHES) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE
as follows:
IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
SECTION 1.
That Section 12.40.010(b) of Chapter 12.40 of the Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
12.40.010 In M-1 (Light Manufacturing) and M-2 (General Manu-
facturing) Zones, concrete curbs, gutters and driveway approaches
shall be provided, but sidewalks may be omitted with the approval
of the Director of Public Works.
and
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 9th day of AuKust , 1978, by
