NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PANAMA LANE EAST OF
STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 99.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set. forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on
a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property
in the City of Bakersfield, located on the north side of Panama Lane
east of State Highway Route 99; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and
ning Commission herein on file,
at the hearings for a change of
the recommendations of the Plan-
together with the reasons advanced
zoning of said property, that a
zoning change should be authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that
this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That an environmental assessment was made of the
project and a Negative Declaration was adopted by the Planning
Commission after a public hearing thereon and this Council hereby
approves the Negative Declaration.
2. That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map)
Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same
by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:

C-2-D (Commercial-Architectural Design)
Zone to a T.T. (Travel Trailer Park) zone
of that certain property in the city of
Bakersfield located on the north side
of Panama Lane East of State Highway
Route 99, being more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
The South 230 feet of the Southwest 1/4
of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 24, Town-
ship 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M.
Excepting that portion which lies within
the Freeway 99 right-of-way; also excepting
that portion which lies within the right-of-
way of Panama Lane and Colony Street.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 2j~t21_ day of July , 1978, by
