AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING SECTION 16.24.124(b) (13)
TO CHAPTER 16.24 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
PROVIDING FOR FIRE HYDRANTS IN SUBDIVISIONS.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
follows:
SECTION 1.
There is hereby added to Chapter 16.24 of the Municipal
Section 16.24.124(b) (13) to read as follows:
"(13) All subdividers are required to
furnish fire hydrants, hydrant burys and
necessary bury extensions and all necessary
bolts and gaskets, which shall be purchased
from the City of Bakersfield."
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adoptad by the Council Qf the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the _2~h day of July , 1978, by
