HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2404 ORDINANCE NO. 2404 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, REGARDING PROPERTY KNOWN AS WIBLE NO. 2 ANNEXATION. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a motion to zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of the motion and recommendation of the Planning Commis- sion, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1o That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include those certain properties in the County of Kern located within the area of Wible Road, the Arvin-Edison Canal, South "H" Street and Pacheco Road, and known as WIBLE NO. 2 ANNEXATION, to an A (Agri- cultural) Zone; to an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone; to an R-1-CH (One Family Dwelling-Church) Zone; to an MH (Mobilehome) Zone; to a C-2-D (Commercial-Architectural Design) Zone; to an M-1 (Light Manufacturing) Zone; and to an M-2 (General Manufacturing) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifi- cally described as follows: Parcel 1: Parcel 2: Parcel 3: Parcel 4: To an A (Agricultural) zone: All that portion of the West 1/2 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. which lies westerly of Freeway 99. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion which lies outside of said Wible No. 2 Annexation; Also excepting that portion within the right- of-way of Wible Road. The Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 25, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion which lies outside of said Wible No. 2 Annexation; Also excepting that portion within the right- of-way of Panama Lane. The Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Excepting that portion that lies outside of said Wible No. 2 Annexation; also excepting that portion within the right-of-way of Panama Lane. The Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 and the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Excepting therefrom that portion that lies within the right-of-way of Hughes Lane and Faith Avenue. To an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) zone: Parcel 1: Parcel 2: Parcel 3: The Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Excepting that portion which lies outside of Wible No. 2 Annexation; Also excepting that portion within the right- of-way of Hughes Lane. The Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Southeast 1/4 of the 24, Township 30 South, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 270 feet of the East 330 feet; Also excepting that portion which lies outside of said wible No. 2 Annexation. The North 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the West 927 feet; Also excepting that portion which lies outside of said Wible No. 2 Annexation. Excepting that portion which lies outside of said Wible No. 2 Annexation; also excepting that portion within the right-of-way of Faith Avenue. The South 270 feet of the East 330 feet of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 130 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.Mo Excepting that portion which lies outside of said Wible No. 2 Annexation. To an MH (Mobilehome) zone: The West 927 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. The Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 230 feet. All that portion of the East 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M., which lies easterly of Freeway 99. To a C-2-D (Commercial-Architectural Design) zone: The South 230 feet of the Southwest 1/4 of the South- east 1/4 of Section 24, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Excepting that portion which lies within the Freeway 99 right-of-way; also excepting that portion which lies within the right-of-way of Panama Lane and Colony Street. The Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 25, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion which lies out- side of said Wible No. 2 Annexation; Also excepting that portion which lies within the right-of-way of Freeway 99 and Panama Lane and Colony Street. To an M-1 (Light Manufacturing) zone: The North 750 feet of the South 1243 feet of the East 1080 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of the South- east 1/4 of Section 14, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Excepting that portion that lies within the right-of-way of Wible Road. To an M-2 (General Manufacturing) zone: Parcel 1: The South 493 feet of the East 1,878.23 feet of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.B.M. Excepting that portion within the right-of-way of the A.T0&S.F. Railroad; also excepting that portion within Wible Road. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation of the above-described territory to the City of Bakersfield. .......... o0o ..........
