HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2390ORDINANCE NO. 2390 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, REGARDING PROPERTY KNOWN AS "PANAMA LANE NO. 1" ANNEXATION. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Cormnission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Cor~nission to zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of the motion and the recon~nendation of the Planning Con~nission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include that certain property in the County of Kern located on the northeast corner of Stine Road and Panama Lane, known as "PANAMA LANE NO. 1" Annexation, in an R-S (Residential Suburban) Zone, an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone, in an R-2-D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling- Architectural Design) Zone, in an R-3~D (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling-Architectural Design) Zone, and in an MH (Mobilehome) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: Parcel I: .\lJ thor portJ,u: .of' the 5toutb !l~f of B.&M., (n the u¢incorp,~rat~d area. according to. t~te Of Iicial ~'lat thereof, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the South half of the Southwest quarter of said Section 23; thence North 89 degrees 43' 10" West along the North line of the South half of the South- west quarter of said Section 23, 1321.836 feet to the Northwest corner of the Southeast quarter of the South- west quarter of said Section 23; thence South 32 degrees 12' 56" East, 314.194 feet; thence South 89 degrees 43' 10" East, 1154.285 feet to a point on the East line of the South half of the Southwest qnarter of said Section 23; thence North 00 degrees 00' 39" East along the East line of the South half of the Southwest quarter of said Sec- tion 23, 265.003 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
