AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF
CHAPTER 17o12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, REGARDING
PROPERTY KNOWN AS 'WILSON ROAD NO. 3"
ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Commission to
zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of the motion and the recommendation of the Planning
Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should
be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is
hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include
that certain property in the County of Kern located on both sides
of Wilson Road, east of Stine Road, known as WILSON ROAD NO. 3
Annexation, in an R-1 (One-Family Dwelling) and C-O-D (Commercial
and Professional Office-Architectural Design) Zone upon the annexa-
tion of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of
which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part
of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows:
Parcel 1: To an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone:
A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern,
State of California, being a portion of Section
11, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D.M., and
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of the NWI
of said Section 11, thence south 89°18'10" east
along the south line of said NW~ a distance of
346.83 feet to a point in the southwesterly
extension of the easterly right-of-way line of
Stine Road (75' in width); thence north 30052'
15" east along said easterly right-of-way line
and extensions thereof, a distance of 259.65
feet to the northwest corner of Lot 1 of Tract
2532 as shown on that map recorded May 25, 1961,
in Book 11 of Maps at Page 197 in the office of
the County Recorder, said point being a point in
the existing Corporate Boundary of the City of
Bakersfield and also being the True Point of
Beginning for this description;
Thence (1) south 59007'45" east a distance of
108.382 feet;
Thence (2) south 0°41'50" west a distance of
125.00 feet to a point in the north right-of-
way line of Wilson Road (90 feet in width);
Thence (3) south 89°18'10" east along said
north right-of-way line a distance of 556.95
feet, more or less, to a point in the west
line of the east 193 feet of the west 1/2 of
the west 1/2 of said Section 11;
Thence (4) south 0°41'50" west along said west
line a distance of 90 feet to a point in the
south right-of-way line of Wilson Road, said
point also being a point in the existing Cor-
porate Boundary of the City of Bakersfield;
Thence (5) southerly, westerly, and northerly
along various courses of said Corporate Boundary
to the True Point of Beginning;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion which lies
north of the south right-of-way line of Wilson
Road.
Parcel 11: To a C-O-D (Commercial and Professional
Office-Architectural Design) Zone:
Lot 1, Tract 2532, recorded in Book 11, Page 197,
May 25, 1961, Kern County Records.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 26th day of October, 1977, by the follow-
