CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE
MEMORANDUM
July 10, 1998
TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY CO,~II~ /
FROM: ALAN TANDY, CITY MANAGER
SUBJECT: GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The Plaza opening is a big benchmark. It still has a number of elements to finish up
later, but its a great new place to impress the visitor.
2. We have checked through the petitions received from Olive #4. Based on getting
about 600 out of 2,000 property owners, we feel we should stop active efforts there
for the foreseeable future. We haven't been allowed to see any petitions from Castro,
so until we do, we will keep that one active.
3. The June Activities report from Recreation and Parks is enclosed.
4. The Council chamber remodel is underway. We hope you like it.
5. Responses to Council requests are enclosed, as follows:
· Repair of the concrete gutter at Beech and 22® Streets;
· Resurfacing of streets in the Dennen area.
