AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADDING ITEMS 15 AND 16 TO
SECTION 17.64.020 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE,
PROVIDING FOR GRANTING OF CONDITIONAL USE
PERMITS IN ANY ZONE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That items 15 and 16 are hereby added to Section
17.64.020 of Chapter 17.64 of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
15. Excavation and removal of rock, sand, gravel and
other materials.
16. Drilling for the production of oil, gas and other
hydrocarbon substances and the installation and maintenance of nec-
essary structures, apparatus and appurtenances incident thereto; in
addition to reasonable conditions which may be imposed by the Board
of Zoning Adjustment, the permit shall also be subject to all the
conditions specified in Subsection (f) of Section 17.36.020 of this
title.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 21stday of September , 1977, by the
