AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAR~RSFIELD
AMENDING SECTION 2.04.010 OF THE MUNI-
CIPAL CODE CHANGING THE MEETING DATES OF
THE CITY COUNCIL TO WEDNESDAYS OF EACH
WEEK.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
SECTION 1.
Section 2.04.010 of the Municipal Code is amended to
read as follows:
Section 2.04.010. Time and place of meeting. The regu-
lar meetings of the City Council of the City of Bakersfield shall
be held in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun
Avenue, Bakersfield, at 8:00 P.M. on Wednesdays of each week
throughout the year except when such Wednesdays shall be a legal
holiday; provided, however, that the Council, may, from time to
time by resolution, change the number and date of meetings to be
held during any specified period of time.
SECTION 2.
Effective date. This ordinance shall become operative
thirty days after adoption.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 14th day of September , 1977, by the
