AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING SECTION 16.24.124(b)(6)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING REQUIRED
IMPROVEMENTS IN SUBDIVISIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Item (6) of Subsection (b) of Section 16.24.124 of
Chapter 16.24 of Title 16 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield is hereby amended to read as follows:
(6) Services from public utilities, including cable
television, and services from sanitary sewers, shall be made avail-
able for each lot, and in such manner as will obviate the necessity
for disturbing the street pavement, gutter, culvert and curb, when
service connections are made.
SECTION 2.
This amendment is intended as a clarification of existing
law and not as a new requirement.
