FIEIn, as follows:
That it Is the intention of the COtUlcl1 of the City
of Bakersfield to order the following street work to bo done,
to-wit:
That the width of the alley running northerly and
southerly through Blocks 34 and 39, Lowell Addition, be reduced
from 33 feet to 20 feet.
The land necessary and convenient to be abandoned for
sald purpose are described as follows:
(a) A parcel of land 6.5 feet in width lying westerly of
and papallel with the easterly line of the alley rumdng northorly
and southerly through Block 34, Lowell Adell tion and extending :Cpom
the northerly line of 9th Stroclt to the southerly l1no of 10th
8trnet.
(b) A parcel of land 6.b feet in width lying easterly of
and parallel w:tth the westerly lino of the alloy running north-
orly and southerly through Block 34, Lowe]l A.dd:ition and extend-
ing from the northerly line of 9th street to "the southerly line
of loth Street.
(c) A parcel of land G.5 foet in width lying westerly of
and parallel with the easterly line of the alley runnlng no:rtherly
and southerly through Block 39, Lowell AdcUtion and extendlng from
the northorly line of 8th Stroot to the southerly line of 9th
Street.
(d) A parcel of land G.5 feet in width lying easterl:~r of
and parallel with the westerly line of the alley running northerly
and southerly through Block 39, L01.vell Addl tion and extendIng from
of the passage of said ReSo~ltion, and the Council of the City
of Bakersf'leld he.s aoqu.l:eod .;urlEld:l.ctlon to order said work as
proposed in said Resolution to be done;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that said work
and improvement be done as aforesald and as specifically
described In said Resolution of Intention No. 534, and that
said alley running northerly and southerly through Blocks 34
and 39, Lowell Addition, be and the same is hereby diminished
to a uniform wldth of twenty (20) feet between the property
lines.

BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE COUNCIL OF THE G I1~Y OF' BAKEHS-
WHEREAS, the l10uncil of the 0Ity of Bakersfield did
on the 10th day of May, 1926 ~ pass Its Resolution of Intention
}To. 534, to order the .followtng work to be done, to-wit:
That the width of the alley running
northerly and southerly through
Blocks 3.1 and 39, Lowell Addition, be
reduced from 33 feet to 20 feet.
The lands necessary and convenient
to be abandoned for said purpose are
described as follows:
(a) A parcel of land 6.5 feet in
width lying westerly of and parallel
with the easterly line of the alley run-
ning northerly and southerly through
Block 34, Lowell Addition and ex-
tending from the northerly line of 9th
Street to the southerly line of 10th
Street.
(b) A parcel of land 6.5 feet in
width lying ea.sterly of and parallel
with the westerly line of the alley
running northerly and southerly
through Block 34, Lowell Addition and
extending from the northerly line of
9th street to the southerly line of 10th
Street.

Street.
The Blocks herein above mentioned
are as shown on the Map of the City
of Bakersfield, Kern County, Califor-
nia, filed in the office of the Count)'
Recorder of Kern County, Nov. 25th,
1898.
All of the herein proposed work and
improvement shall be done In pursu-
ance of an act of the Legislature of
the State of California, entitled "AN
ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE LAY.
ING OUT, OPENING, EXTENDING,
WIDENING, STRAIGHTENING OR
CLOSING UP, IN WHOLE OR IN
PART ANY STREET, SQUARE,
LANE, ALLEY, COURT OR PLAGE
WITHIN MUNICIPALITIES AND TO
CONDEMN AND ACQUIRE ANY
AND ALL LAND 'NECESSARY OR
CONVENIENT FOR THA T PUR-
POSE," approved March 6th, 1889 and
the several acts amendatory thereof
or supplemental thereto.

hereby made to Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 534, for the above described
work on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Bakersfield,
