HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2364ORDINANCE NO. 236Zt NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1999 OAK STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 1999 Oak Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the recon~nendations of the Planning COLmLLission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Bakersfield. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Amending the zoning boundaries from A (Agricultural) Zone to an M-1-D (Light Manufacturing-Architectural Design) Zone of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 1999 Oak Street, being more particularly described as follows: That portion of Section Twenty-Six (26), Township Twenty-Nine (29) South, Range Twenty-Seven (27) East, Mount Diablo Meridian, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southerly terminus of Course (8), a point on the westerly boundary line of the parcel of land described as Parcel 1 in that certain Grant Deed to the State of California recorded March 29, 1961, in Book 3364 of Official Records at Page 169; thence along said Course (8), north 03o00'37" west, 357.29 feet (record distance shown as 357.28 feet in said Grant Deed); thence continuing along said westerly boundary, north 00o28'25" east, 359.109 feet; thence leaving said westerly boundary, south 24°00'02" west, 345.303 feet; thence south 02°50'17" west, 42.210 feet; thence south 51°55'30" west, 735.134 feet; thence south 00o00'07" east, 721.42 feet; thence north 85o52'50" east, 85.80 feet; thence north 74°57'14" east, 196.17 feet; thence north 72058'54" east, 550.22 feet to a point on said westerly boundary, distant thereon south 06°28'13" east, 295.335 feet from the northerly terminus of Course (6), as des- cribed in said Grant Deed (record bearing shown as north 06o26'55" west in said Grant Deed); thence continuing along said westerly boundary, north 05046'42" west, 306.462 feet to the point of beginnin~ (record bearing and distance shown as north 05 48'00" west, 306.44 feet in said Grant Deed). Containing 16.36 acres, more or less. .......... 000 ..........
