AN ORDINANCE AIKENDING SECTION 17.12.020
OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Commission to
zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of the motion and the recommendation of the Planning
Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should
be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of
the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is
hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include
that certain property in the County of Kern, located, generally,
south and east of Bakersfield Country Club, known as COLLEGE NO. 1
ANNEXATION, in an R-1 (One-Family Dwelling) Zone upon the annexation
of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which
property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this
ordinance, and are more specifically described in Exhibit '~" attached
hereto.

A parcel of land situate in the county
of Kern, state of California and being
a portion of Section 23, 24, 25 and 26,
Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M. D.
B. & M., and more particularly described

the NW 1./4 of the said Section 24;
Thence southerly, along the east li~e of
said NW 1/4, 358.51 feet, to True Point
of Beginning for this description, said
point of beginning being also a point
on the Corporate Boundary of the city of

to a point on a circular curve, with
a radius of 955 feet, and the radial
center of said curve bears S 69~ 55'
51" E from said point;
Thence (4) southerly along said curve
concave to the southeast, through an
arc of 19° 32' 24" an arc distance of
325.691 feet, to a point of tangency
on the west line of the east 45 feet
of said Section 26;
Thence (5) southerly, 2'i0 feet, more
or less, along the last named west
line to intersect the south line of the
N 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 26;
