HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2334ORDINANCE NO. 2334 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2915 BRUNDAGE LANE AND 12, 16, AND 20 SOUTH OLIVE STREET. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known as 2915 Brundage Lane and 12, 16, and 20 South Olive Street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Bakersfield. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Amending the zoning boundaries from a C-1 (Limited Commercial) Zone and an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone to C-2 (Commercial) Zone, of those certain properties in the City of Bakersfield, commonly known as 2915 Brundage Lane and 12, 16 and 20 South Olive Street, being more particularly des- cribed as follows: PARCEL 1: The east 120 feet of the west 669.05 feet of the north 108.14 feet of the northwest 1/4 of Section No. 1, T30S, R27E, M.D.B.& M. PARCEL II: EXCEPTING that portion that lies within street right-of-way. Lots 74, 75, 76, 77 and all of the adjacent alley to Lots 75, 76, and 77 of Tract 1549, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, as per map recorded May 17, 1950 in Book 7, Pages 95 and 96, in the office of the County Recorder of said county. EXCEPTING that portion of said Lot 74 that lies within the alley right-of-way. .......... o0o ..........
