HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2318ORDINANCE NO. 2318 NEW SERIES A!~ ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAl. CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a motion to zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of the motion and recommendation of the Planning Cormmis- sion, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include those certain properties in the County of Kern located contiguous to the northern boundary of the City of Bakersfield, between Golden State Highway on the west and the northerly extension of Wenatchee Avenue on the east, containing 761.12 acres, known as Kern River No. 4 Annexation, in an FP-P (Flood Plain Primary) Zone; in an FP-S (Flood Plain Secondary) Zone; in an A (Agricultural) Zone; and in an MH (Mobilehome) Zone, upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield. Such districts are delineated on the map attached hereto, entitled "Zoning Upon Annexation--Kern River No. 4" and hereby made a part of this ordinance. Each zoning district depicted upon said map consists of each parcel of property located within the areas so described on the map, which parcels are subject to the regu- lations contained in the City of Bakersfield Zoning Regulations and other applicable laws and regulations. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation of the above-described territory to the City of Bakersfield. .......... o0o ..........
