RESOLUTION NO. 2 4 3 - 0 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DEDICATING PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
FOR A PORTION OF RED LEAF WAY LOCATED WEST OF
RIV ANI DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City owns property upon which is located a designated City Park
hereinafter referred to as "City Property"; and
WHEREAS, said property was deeded to the City on October 12, 2000 and is
described in a Grant Deed recorded in the Kern County Hall of Records under
Document No. 0200127697; and
WHEREAS, the City has required the construction of a public street hereinafter
referred to as Red Leaf Way on the east boundary of the City Property; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the right-of-way for Red Leaf Way is within the boundary
of the City Property (Dedicated Property); and
WHEREAS, the City proposes to dedicate said Dedicated Property; and
WHEREAS, said Dedicated Property is described in Exhibits "A" and "B"
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by
reference.
2. The City of Bakersfield hereby dedicates to the public a right-of-way (the
Dedicated Property) as shown on Exhibit "A" and described in Exhibit "B"
for use as a public street.

the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on

A parcel ofland located in the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 18, Township 29 South, Range 29 East, Mount Diablo Base and
Meridian, in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, described as
follows:
That certain portion of the J?arcel of land granted to the City of Bakersfield, per deed
thereof recorded on the 12 day of October, 2000, in Document No. 0200127697 in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, and more particularly described as
follows:
1. Commencing at the Northwest comer of Tract No. 6426 as recorded in Book 58
of Maps, Pages 113-118, in the Recorder's Office of said County; thence
2. South 000 09' 00" East along the West line of said Tract No. 6426, a distance of
211.25 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
3. continuing along said West line South 00009' 00" East, 419.90 feet; thence
4. Northwesterly 108.75 feet along a non-tangent curve concave northeasterly with a
radius of 90.00 feet, a central angle 690 14' 02" and a beginning radial which
bears North 370 32' 14" East; thence
5. Northerly 7.38 feet along a curve concave westerly with a radius of25.00 feet and
a central angle of 16055' 16" to a point 30.00 feet from and parallel to said West
line; thence
6. continuing parallel to said West line North 000 09' 00" West, 201.60 feet; thence
7. Northerly 8.69 feet along a curve concave westerly with a radius of25.00 feet and
a central angle of 19055' II"; thence
8. Northeasterly 117.55 feet along a curve concave southeasterly with a radius of
92.00 feet, and a central angle of730 12' 20" to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
