HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2287 ORDINANCE NO. 2287 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.12.020 OF CHAPTER 17.12 (ZONING MAP) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Co~nission to zone certain property now being annexed to said City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of the motion and the recommendation of the Planning Commission, herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized upon annexation of said property to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 17.12.020 of Chapter 17.12 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include that certain property in the County of Kern, located on the north- east corner of Stine Road and Ming Avenue, known as Stine No. 4 Annexation, in a C-O-D (Commercial and Professional Office - Architectural Design) Zone upon the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described as follows: Parcel 1: To a C-O-D (Commercial and Professional Office- ArchitecturalrDesign), or more restrictive, zone: A porti:m of the southeast quarter (SE ¥4) of the southwest quarter (SI~ 1/4) of Section 2, Township 30 Sout.~, Range 27 East, M.D. I~. in the County of Ker~., State of California, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the n~rth line of said southeast quarter of the south- west quarter and the east right-of-way of Stine Road, 90 feet in width thence S 14 degrees 51 m~nutes 41 seconds W along said east right-of-way 5-,43 feet to a point, said point being the t rminus of course No. 18 of the description for the annexation designated as '~Stine No. l" and said point also being the northwest corner of Lot II, which bears N 66 degrees 19 minutes 03 seconds W. 222.806 feet from the center of the cul-de-sac at the end of Erin Court, as shogun on the map of Tract No. 2337 filed in the Office of the County Recorder of the said Kern County in Book 11 of Maps on Page 35, and being the True Point of Beginning of the description. Thence (l) leaving the municipal boundary of the city of I~akersfield S 22 degrees ll minutes 32 seconds E, along the westerly bounda~ of said Tract ~o. 2337, 193.024 feet; Thence (2) continuing along the last-said boundary S 15 degrees 13 minutes 32 seconds E, 51.280 feet to the south- westerly corner of said Tract ~o. 2337; Thence (3) continuing S 15 degrees 13 minutes 32 seconds E along the westerly boundary of Tract He. 2457, as shown on the map of Tract No. 2457 filed in the Office of said County Recorder in Book ll of Naps on Page 172, 292.04 fee~ to the southwest corner of the last-said Trast; Thence (4) S 89 degrees 22 minutes 08 seconds E ~long the southerly boundary of the last-sai! tract, 5.20 eet; Thence (5) S 15 degrees 13 minute[, 32 seconds E long the westerly boundary of Tract No. 26:~3, as shown or the I,lap of Tract 2368 filed in the Office of said Cc nty Re- corder in Book 12 of Maps on Pag~ 109, 100.79 f, :t to the easterly extension of the south line of pro arty granted to Floyd Bowen and Victoria Bo~ven, hosbdnd and wife by joint tenancy deed -ecorded in the Office of the said County Recorder in Booi 1228 of Offic'al Records on Page 94, this point being on the municipal 3oundary of the city of Bakersfield; Thence (6) westward, north~rd, and eastwa ~ along said municipal boundary through various courses Lo the point of beginning. Parcel 2: To a C-l~D (Limited Commercial - Architectural Design), or more restrictive, zone: A portion of the southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of the southwest quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 2, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.D. M., in the County of Kern, State of California, more particularly des- cribed as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the north line of said southeast quarter of the southwest quarter and the east right-of-way of Stine Road, 90 feet in width thence S 14 degrees 51 minutes 41 seconds W along said east right-of-way, 54.43 feet to a point, said point being the terminus of course No. 18 of the des- cription for the annexation designated as "Stine No. and said point also being the northwest corner of Lot ll, which bears N 66 degrees 19 minutes 03 seconds W, 222.806 feet from the center of the dul-de-sac at the end of Erin Court, as shown on the map of Tract No. 2337 filed in the Office of the County Recorder of the said Kern County in Book ll of Maps on Page 35, and be~n§ the True Point of Beginning of the description.
