NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AMENDING CHAPTER 3.18 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTION 3.18.060
AND DELETING SECTION 3.18.180 RESPECTING
THE ANNUAL RESOLUTION SETTING SALARIES
AND RELATED BENEFITS FOR OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.18.060 is added to Chapter 3.18 of the
Municipal Code to read as follows:
3.18.060 Annual Resolution. The Annual Resolution Setting
Salaries and Related Benefits For Officers and Employees of the
City of Bakersfield shall become a part of this chapter and shall
take precedence over any other provision of this chapter inconsistent
with the provisions contained therein.
SECTION 2.
That Section 3.18.180 of Chapter
Municipal Code is hereby deleted.
3.18 of Titlie
3 of the
SECTION 3.
Pursuant to Section 2.08.113 D this ordinance is to become
effective upon adoption in order to provide for salaries and other
related items for fiscal year 1976-1977.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed

meeting thereof held on the 12th day of July, 1976, by the following
