NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
NORTHWESTERLY OF THE INTERSECTION OF WIBLE
ROAD AND WHITE LANE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning CoL~m~ission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located north-
westerly of the intersection of Wible Road and White Lane; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that
this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:

Design) Zone to a C-1-D (Limited Commercial -
Architectural Design) Zone:
The east 100 feet of Parcel 2 of Parcel Map No.
817 recorded January 25, 1974, in Parcel Map Book
8, Page 167 in the office of the Kern County
Recorder, City of Bakersfield, County of Ken~,
State of California.
From an R-1 (One Family Dwelli~K) Zone t? an R-2-D
(Limited Multiple Family Dwelllng - Architectural
Design) Zone:
The north 120 feet of the south 175 feet of the
southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 30 South,
Range 27 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, City
of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California.
EXCEPT the west 312.00 feet and EXCEPT the east
132 feet.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 15th day of March, 1976, by the following
