HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 2261ORDINANCE NO. 2261 NEW SERIES AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED NORTHWESTERLY OF THE INTERSECTION OF WIBLE ROAD AND HARRIS ROAD. WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield located north- westerly of the intersection of Wible Road and Harris Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con- sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning change should be authorized; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and :found that this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the City of Bakersfield. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached and made a part hereof, as follows: Amending the zoning boundaries from an A (Agricultural) Zone to an R-S (Residential Suburban) Zone, of those certain properties in the City of Bakersfield located northwesterly of the intersection of Wible Road and Harris Road, being more particularly described as follows: Parcel 1: Lots 1 through 78, Tract 3589, recorded in Book 25 of Maps, Page 14, on October 17, 1973, City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California. Parcel 2: Lot 14 of Section 23, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M.DoB.M., in the County of Kern, State of California, according to the map of said Section filed in the office of the County Recorder of said county on May 3, 1889, except the easterly 417.42 feet of the southerly 208.71 feet of Lot 14 (for the purpose of this description, the southerly line of said Lot 114 is to be located at the north boundary of the road as shown on "Kern County Sales Map No. 1 of Lands of J. B. Haggin" recorded May 3, 1889 in the office of the County Recorder of Kern County, California). .......... o0o ..........
