1. Approve minutes of regular meeting of October 14, 1981.

~4. Request to purchase larger water storage facilities for Tracts
4188 and 4190 located adjacent to Stockdale Highway, 1/4 mile'
west of Allen Road. Staff recommends the use of up to $14,000
for purchase of the additional water storage capacity. - FOR

WATER BOARD - CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 1981
4:00 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Payne in the
Department of Water Conference Room
The secretary called the roll as follows:
Present: Payne, Ratty, Kelmar
Absent: Barton, 0berholzer
The minutes from the meeting of October 14, 1981, were approved
as presented.
A request to purchase larger water storage facilities for Tracts
4188 and 4190 located adjacent to Stockdale Highway, 1/4 mile
west of Allen Road was presented to the board for consideration.
Dal.e Hawley, Public Works Director at this time gave a map
illustration of the area involved. The staff recommends the
use of up to $14,000 for the purpose of the additional water
storage capacity. Mr. Kelmar made a motion that the board
authorize the expenditure of funds to obtain the additional
storage capacity. The motion was passed.
There being no further business to come before the board, Vice-
Chairman Payne adjourned the meeting at 4:07 P.M.
