NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 1116 '~" STREET.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the land use zoning
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield commonly known
as 1116 '~" Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that
this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City,
the boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto
attached and made a part hereof, as follows:
Amending the zoning boundaries from an R-3
(Limited Multiple Family Dwelling) Zone to a
C-2 (Co~Lm~ercial) Zone, and an R-B-P (Limited
Multiple Family Dwelling - Parking) Zone, of
that certain property in the City of Bakersfield
commonly known as 1116 '~" Street, being more
particularly described as follows:
From an R-3 {Limited Multiple Family Dwelling)
Zone to a C-2 (Cormmercial) Zone:
All of Lot 9 and the north half of Lot 10, Block
6, Lowell Addition, City of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, State of California, as per map recorded
November 25, 1898 in Map Book 1, Pages 13 and 14,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.
From an R-3 ~Limited Multiple Family Dwelling) Zone
to an R-3-P (Limited Multiple Family Dwelling -
Automobile Parking) Zone:
The south half of Lot 10 and all of Lot 11, Block
6 of Lowell Addition, City of Bakersfield, County
of Kern, State of California, as per Map recorded
November 25, 1898 in Map Book 1, Pages 13 and 14,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 1st day of December, 1975, by the follow-
ing vote:
