AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE SEVENTEEN OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE ZONING OF THAT CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD LOCATED
ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PANORAMA DRIVE BETWEEN
WENATCHEE AVENUE AND BOISE STREET.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Title 17 of the Municipal Code of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a motion of the Planning Co~nis$ion to
change the land use zoning of that certain property in the City
of Bakersfield located on the north side of Panorama Drive between
Wenatchee Avenue and Boise Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration of said motion and the recommendations of the Planning
Commission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at
the hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that a zoning
change should be authorized.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined and found that
this zoning ordinance is consistent with the General Plan of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
That Section 17.12.020 (Zoning Map) of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended by
changing the land use zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of which properties are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part hereof, as follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries from an R-3-D
(Limited Multiple Family Dwelling - Architectural
Design) Zone to an R-1 (One Family Dwelling) Zone
of that certain property in the City of Bakersfield
located on the North side of Panorama Drive, between
Wenatchee Avenue and Boise Street, being more par-
ticularly described as follows:
The South 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of the South-
east 1/4 of Section 10, and the North 55 feet of
the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section
15, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.B. & M.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following:
The North 480 feet of the Southwest 1/4
of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4
of said Section 10.
The South 180 feet of the West 305 feet
of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4
of said Section 10.
That portion which lies Easterly of the
Westerly boundary of Tract 3679, recorded
July 2, 1974, in Book 25, Page 133, in
the office of the County Recorder, County
of Kern.
That portion which lies within Tract 3256,
recorded December 5, 1969, Book 18, Page
151, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of Kern.
5. The right-of-way within Panorama Drive.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 5th day of May, 1975, by the following
