HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 192-06(1) RESOLUTION NO. 192-06(1) A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ACKNOWLEDGING LAFCO PROCEEDINGS WHEREAS, on July 19, 2006, pursuant to Resolution No. 192-06, this Council approved a Resolution of Application proposing proceedings for annexation of certain territory to the City of Bakersfield identified as Annexation No. 531 (located north of Stockdale Highway, generally west of Renfro Road); and WHEREAS, the area encompassed by the original Resolution of Application is shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, during the LAFCO proceedings, a portion of the property originally included in the Resolution of Application was deleted, at the owner's request, from the annexation proceedings; and WHEREAS, said omitted property is being proposed for annexation by the owner under a separate application with the City; and WHEREAS, LAFCO approved Annexation No. 531, with the omission of the above-described property (see Exhibit "B" attached hereto). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1 . The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference. 2.
