RESOLUTION NO. 192-06(1)
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ACKNOWLEDGING
LAFCO PROCEEDINGS
WHEREAS, on July 19, 2006, pursuant to Resolution No. 192-06, this Council
approved a Resolution of Application proposing proceedings for annexation of certain
territory to the City of Bakersfield identified as Annexation No. 531 (located north of
Stockdale Highway, generally west of Renfro Road); and
WHEREAS, the area encompassed by the original Resolution of Application is
shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, during the LAFCO proceedings, a portion of the property originally
included in the Resolution of Application was deleted, at the owner's request, from the
annexation proceedings; and
WHEREAS, said omitted property is being proposed for annexation by the owner
under a separate application with the City; and
WHEREAS, LAFCO approved Annexation No. 531, with the omission of the
above-described property (see Exhibit "B" attached hereto).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1 . The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by
reference.
2. The Council hereby acknowledges that Annexation No. 531, as amended,
has been approved by LAFCO.

A parcel of land being portions of the South half of Section 34, Township 29 South,
Range 26 East, and the North 30.00 feet of Section 3, Township 30 South, Range 26 East,
Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, in the County of Kern, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 34, marked by a Kern County
Surveyor concrete monument, replaced on November 1961, said point also being the
Northwest corner of said Section 3, and the intersection of the centerlines of Heath Road
(Country Road No. 177 and 2030) and Stockdale Highway (County Road No. 696);
