HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 021-08 RESOLUTION NO. -0-2-1 0 8 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING THE VINELAND ROAD/STATE ROUTE 178 INTERCHANGE SPECIFIC PLAN LINE RECITALS WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield adopted the State Route 178 Specific Plan Line on May 11, 1995; and WHEREAS, said Specific Plan Line did not include any interchanges; and WHEREAS, said Specific Plan Line did show a future interchange location at Vine land Road; and WHEREAS, ongoing urbanization has created the need for a more specific definition of the area required for this interchange; and WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield has now caused to be prepared a legal description and plat for the Specific Plan Line for the interchange at Vineland Road and State Route 178 ("Interchange Specific Plan Line"); and WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield has filed a Notice of Exemption for the adoption of this Interchange Specific Plan Line; and WHEREAS, all required notices concerning adoption of the Interchange Specific Plan Line have been provided; and WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield desires to adopt said Interchange Specific Plan Line as shown on Exhibit "A" (map and legal description) attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1 . The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference. 2.
