1. Community Development Block Grant Funds Amendment for First Quarter of Fiscal
Year 1992-93. (Jake Wager)
(Staff reviewed proposed amendment with the committee. Staff indicated, that there
is $199,010 available to be reprogrammed for the two projects currently being
proposed, The committee expressed support of the Tulare Street curb and gutter
project but requ.ested .additional information regarding the proposed Health Clinic
project submitted by Clinica Sierra Vista. Staff will Obtain additional information
and bring' this item back to the committee for further discussion.)
2. Bena Landfill Distance Rate Offset for Kern Refuse} Inc. (Paul Dow).
(Staff reviewed the proposed increase in the amount the city pays to contract haulers
due to the increased travel to the new Bena landfill. The increase was factored in
the amount charged for 92-93 refuse fees and was included in the refuse enterprise
budget. Staff will prepare the necessary amendment and bring back to the full
Council for action at the September. 16th Council meeting.)
