1. Silver' Creek Park: Final Review of Construction Plans (Lee Andersen)
[Representatives from Castle and. Cooke and Milazzo and Associates to meet with
committee]
.... On April 8, 1992, the City Council entered into Agreement No. 92-70 with
Castle and Cooke Development Corp. for the development of Silver Creek
Park. A provision of the Agreement was for the Community Services
Committee to review and approve conceptual plans.
On September 2, 1992, the committee met with Castle and Cooke and City
staff to review conceptual plans. After review and discussion, the Committee
authorized Castle and Cooke to proceed' with' the final plans, specifications,
and improvement agreement.
On November 6, 1992, this Committee again met with Castle and Cooke and
staff to review final plans. All applicable City departments have reviewed and
signed off on the plans and recommend approval. The issue of security was
addressed and Castle and Cooke agreed to provide adequate coverage prior
to the November 18, 1992 Council meeting.
With assurances from Castle and Cooke that open communication would
occur with City staff during development, the Committee recOmmended
approval of the plans, specifications and improvement agreement.

Clerk's Office or you may contact Lee Andersen (Ext. 3700) or Frank Fabbri
(Ext. 3117) for assistance.
