1. Update Citywide Parks and Recreation Plan
The Committee met with staff and Steve Hawkins, Consultant, regarding the Citywide Park
and Recreation Plan. John Stinson gave a brief update on the County CSA proposal and
Steve Hawkins presented a report updating maintenance district zone of benefit boundaries.
His report is attached. Issues discussed were how to find capital for ADA projects, adult
and senior citizen programming within the recreation element and analysis of placing the
Citywide plan on the June 1994 ballot.
Recommendation: Staff to continue developing plan and give Council an update at the
December 15, 1993 Council meeting.
2. Set Next Meeting
To be determined by staff.
Attendance: Chair Councilmember Lynn Edwards, Councilmember Conni Brunni,
Councilmember Mark Salvaggio, Alan Tandy, John W. Stinson, Judy Skousen,
Lee Andersen, and Stephen R. Hawkins, Consultant.
