INTERGOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS COMMIT'FEE
OF THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Intergovernmental Relations
Committee of the Bakersfield City Council and the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Kern will hold a Special Meeting for the purpose of a Committee Meeting on Monday,
November 8, 1993, at 12:00 noon, in the Grape Room, at the Convention Center, 1001
Truxtun Avenue, Bakersfield, California, to consider:

SUBJECT: Appointment of Habitat Conserv,~n Board
The joint powers agreement setting up administration of the Habitat Conservation Plan
provides for appointment of a public member. The city and the county are to take tums
alternately appointing the member. It has not been decided who will appoint first. Would It
be appropriate for you to talk to the Intergovernmental Relations Committee for resolution? If
you do I'll be available to coordinate with county staff.
