AGENDA SUMMARY REPORT
URBAN DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Monday, November 23, 1992

City Manager's Conference Room
1. Sewer Service for Area East of Morning Drive (Fred Kloepper)
Staff has had several meetings with Fred Porter who is coordinating efforts
by interested property owners in providing sewer service to the northeast.
The next step is for them to submit a petition to form a district which will be
followed by review by an Assessment Engineer and by environmental
evaluators.
2. Williamson Act (Jack Hardisty)
Staff recommended that due to the costs of administration and the state's
flagging interest in funding the program, the City continue administration of
the Williamson Act on an as needed basis. Committee agreed.
3. Pushcart Vendors Ordinance (Bill Descary/Michael Allford)
Staff has concluded review of the draft ordinance with the Vendors and
recommends adoption of the ordinance. C6mmittee directed that the
ordinance be submitted to the City Council for adoption.
4.. Outdoor Rap Concert (Lan'y Lunardini)
The City Manager' has written to the President of the University to express
the City's concerns. The City Attorney will research if the City has any
jurisdiction over outdoor concerts at Cai State. He will report back at the
next meeting.
5. Set Next Meeting
December 28, 1992, at 12:00 Noon
