City Manager's Conference Room
1. Hotel Status Report - John W. Stinson
The cost estimate to finish the hotel came in over $15 million. Public Works is
reviewing the numbers. The City Manager will call John Q. Hammons tomorrow to
discuss possible alternatives. The attorneys will be meeting this week to discuss
details on bonding. The details of a draft DDA need to be finalized.
2. Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Master Plan Status Report
Proposals by consulting firms have been reviewed and staff plans to make a
recommendation to the City Council on July 28, 1993. The consultants would be
expected to evaluate all the combinations of system development and draft an
environmental impact report.
3. South BeltwaY Status Report
Memo from Ed Schulz to Alan Tandy is attached. Committee should report to the
City Council on the 28th of July that the delays are frustrating good civic planning
and this project needs to be put back on a basis that will hnplement the general plan.
4. Separation of Grade
In a follow-up from the last meeting, staff submitted the attached memo from
Stephen Walker to Fred Kloepper about the closure of "M" and 30th Streets.
Committee should report back to the City Council that other grade separations
should have higher priorities.
5. Set Next Meeting
August 5, 1993

Councilmember Patricia Smith, John W. Stinson, Henry Ross} III, Jack Hardisty, Larry
Lunardini, and Fred Kloepper.
