A. MULTI-USE FACILITY
Representatives from the County Board of Supervisors met with the Committee
and staff to discuss the parameters for support of a multi-use facility. The County
expressed support for the City being lead on this project, and for a ballot measure
with very clear language about the basic elements of financing. Their main
concern is a guarantee of repayment of their loan at the current interest rate. This
issue will be addressed at their November 14 meeting. The Committee voted to
delete the southwest site from consideration and asked staff to provide the.
Committee with additional information and financing options for the downtown
and Sam Lynn sites. A special meeting was called for 4 p.m. on Tuesday,
November 7, 1995 and the County was invited to attend that meeting.
