SUBJECT USE oF JET SKIS IN KERN RIVER
Recently we have received more complaints regardin~
the use of motorized Jet skis in the Kern River.
In conversation with City Attorney Art Saalfield we
both agree that ~.C. 10.82.030 was not intended to
cover Jet skis at the time it was enacted.
Inasmuch as the Council has been very much involved
in the develooment of the Kern River and flood plain,
I would suggest that yoQ consider ~dt~r ~hi~ to the
Urban Development or~e~ Resource C0mm~tees~For
a report.
